This page is to keep my supporters informed on what I am doing daily to represent you in this Community.
Growing up in a small community who took me in at the age of 15 years old and helped me make it in life is something I will never forget. I have always felt the best way I could pay Manatee County back is to get involved and help others that may not have had the support I did. I became a nurse, volunteers in various organizations as I got older, jointed former Commissioner Pat Glass to become a founding board member of the AIDs Council and later President, One of the first Board Members of START with General Patterson and Ed Chiles, and many other great organizations. I have worked as a nurse at One Stop Homeless clinic for 4 years and visit weekly. I love serving the citizens and helping them find solutions to their issues. I don't believe in government waste and have proven that by NOT raising property taxes since 1996. I don't sit behind a desk. I get out in our community and meet the people that put me in office. As Chair of Port Manatee I have worked closely with Port Staff to recruit companies from all over the world. The Port is growing and producing high paying jobs for our citizens.
I humbly ask for your support for Manatee County Commissioner
Government should live within its means. I support job creation, building & repairing our road system and helping our less fortunate.
